My name is Michelle Stewart.  I have worked with preschool aged children for the past 12 years.  I am married and have one son, Tyler who is 17 years old and attends Mt. Pleasant High School.   I also have 3 dogs, Bentley, Faith and Khloe. I am a native of Concord and currently reside in the rural Concord/Mt. Pleasant area.  I have a B.A. degree in Birth to Kindergarten Education from Western Carolina University as well as an A.A.S in Early Childhood Education.  My lifelong dream has always been to be a teacher.  I am thankful to be a part of the Long School Family and look foward to a wonderful school year.

  My name is Melissa Hurst and I have worked with children for the past 20 years.  I have worked for Cabarrus County Schools with Pre K children for the past 7 years.  I really enjoy watching the children grow and develop in all domains throughout the school year.  I have a B.A. in Child and Family Development and I am currently pursuing my Master's in Education, specialization in Family and Community Services.  I want to personally thank you for putting your trust in me to teach your child.  By the way.....I am a DALLAS COWBOY FAN!!!
