Thank you for visiting the Northwest Cabarrus High School CDC web page. Our CTE staff represents five program areas which includes Agriculture, Business & Marketing, Family Consumer Science, Health Occupations and Trade & Industry. The courses we offer at NCHS focus on critical thinking and problem solving along with a hands on approach to getting students involved in the class. This is the first year that all students will use the Cluster model for graduation. Contact my office if there are questions about the classes we offer or the Cluster documents.

	Job Shadowing

Job Shadowing activities are mostly geared toward sophmore students that are wanting to take a closer look at careers that may be of interest to them. This is usually a day long visit to one business site. If you are interested and would like more information contact my office.


	Career Technical Education Classes by Grade Level

The Career Technical Education classes offered by grade level at Northwest Cabarrus High School start with some basic beginning classes at the freshmen level and multiply into many specilized classes for the student's sophmore, junior and senior year. Entry level class for Agriculture / Agriscience Application, Business / Microsoft IT WPP & Personal Finance, Health Occupations / Health Team Relations, Family Consumer Science / Teen Living


	CTE Clubs

There are five program areas represented in the CTE Department at Northwest Cabarrus High School. Each of the program areas will have an associate club for student involvement, some are more active than others. Check out the links below for more information on the clubs and their activities.
