NC-20063 Mission Statement |
The mission of NC-20063 is to build a quality junior ROTC unit at Jay M. Robinson by developing students into better citizens. We will emphasize the value of education; learn the value of displaying proper military bearing, teamwork, and tenacity; and apply the principles of self-discipline, self-sacrifice, and good leadership. |

This course combines a wide variety of academics, drill & ceremonies, athletics, and team building. It emphasizes student involvement and actual leadership experience. It is also a course that concentrates on the development of character through extensive extra-curricular activities and community service. It is open to both males and females and compliments all phases of the high school curriculum. Students at any grade level my enter the program at point in their high school career. This course can be valuable to any student because it helps prepare them for the responsibilities he or she will face after high school, whether it be college or the work force. Of course, we are also an invaluable resource for students interested in career opportunities in the military. Note: there is no military commitment for participation in this course. |
