A Calculator: TI-83 Plus or TI-84 is recommended. It is necessary that you own your calculator so you can use it when doing your homework and become proficient using it.

Let me also emphasize the importance of completion of homework. Students need to complete all homework assignments to the best of their ability, so that they can evaluate their progress and determine any trouble spots. Homework completion is very important, so it will be checked for effort or graded for correctness on a regular basis. Daily quizzes will be given at the beginning of class.
