I am so excited to be teaching art at MPHS. I graduated from Central Cabarrus High School in 2000. After high school, I attended Salem College where I studied Studio Art with a concentration in Oil Painting. I also majored in English and Education. After graduating from Salem, I taught Pre-K in Stanley County for a year and then lived in South Aftica for a year.
In the fall of 2006, I was hired to teach at MPHS. I began teaching as part of the English Department. Then I taught 1/2 English classes and 1/2 art classes. Now I am happy to be a full-time National Board Certified art teacher. Go tigers!
