Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to my web page! I am originally from Rocky Mount, NC. I graduated with a BA in Mathematics and a minor in Secondary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

I have taught at Cox Mill High School. This will be my first year teaching at Hickory Ridge.

My philosophy as a teacher is that all students can and should learn. I believe that my favorite teacher put it best "you can loose your car or house because they are tangible but your knowledge is yours to keep forever." With that in mind I understand that all students learn and retain information in a variety of ways.
