Accountability Services ensures that parents, students, educators, and other stakeholders are provided with accurate, quality, and timely data, as well as information at all academic levels regarding Cabarrus County Schools. Now more than ever, school districts are being held accountable for their level of services they provide to their students. By delivering data and information about our school district, CCS ensures that all parties with an interest in our students' education have the research and measurement tools necessary for analysis and assessment of progress. Accountability Services is responsible for three key components of CCS' ongoing educational efforts: 1) performance evaluation as required by state and federal laws; 2) flexibility to adapt and change to new requirements; and 3) delivery of information to the general public and elected officials.

Forum Data

Cabarrus County Schools held 16 forums with different stakeholder groups in order to gather input for the 2011 through 2014 district strategic plan. In these forums, we heard from over 300 people. The data gathered from these groups indicated the number of people from each forum that supported a particular area of focus. The Cabarrus County Schools' Board of Education and Cabinet leaders used this information to create the first draft of the district's 2011 ‐ 2014 district strategic plan.
