 Students in Cabarrus County Schools will be heading back-to-school (or heading to school for the very first time for our kindergarteners) in less than one month.
To help students and parents prepare for the 2009-2010 school year, we have created this special back-to-school section. Here, you can access important information about the new school year.
One of the biggest changes this year is our new school opening and dismissal times. Please be sure to refer to the chart so that you know your school's times. Also this year, Cabarrus County Schools will open two new schools: Cox Mill High School and Cabarrus-Kannapolis Early College High School. We are excited about our new school openings and know that these students are eager to create their school communities and start their schools' traditions.
Once again this year, CCS schools are hosting Open Houses. These events allow students and their parents the opportunity to visit the school, meet teachers and school administrators, and learn more about opportunities to volunteer and other services such as Kids Plus and Transportation.
