HP Donates to CCS Schools

Central Cabarrus High School STEM program and Northwest Cabarrus High School are the recipients of HP products valued at $1,606.

Based on requested items from the STEM Program coordinator, CCHS will receive a 27" LED backlit monitor for classroom instructional use and three HP Envy printers and printer cables for sharing in the STEM classroom area. NCHS will receive five boxes (10 reams each) of HP paper.

The HP Giving Program, with financial participation from HP Charlotte-Concord area employees, is donating the HP products.

"Through the HP Giving Program over the past several years, HP and the local HP employees have funded the donation of hundreds of financial, scientific, and basic calculators to CCS elementary and high schools. Now, we are excited to help provide equipment for the new Central Cabarrus High School STEM program and supplies for Northwest Cabarrus High School," said Cindy Fertenbaugh, HP employee and Cabarrus County Board of Education member. "We are pleased that HP provides employees with the ability to work globally but share locally."
