Long Students Travel the World
Students at Long School "traveled" the world to learn about cultural diversity.
Each class selected a country to research its customs, traditions and important facts. The children made artifacts to represent the country they studied.
One student's parent brought in dresses from Africa and a teacher's son shared slides of his visit to China.
Students "traveled" throughout the school, visiting each country (classroom). They carried their "passports" and received a stamp after visiting each country.
