CCS Schools Love the Bus
Throughout the month of February, Cabarrus County Schools, along with school systems across North Carolina, will participate in the American School Bus Council's Love the Bus (LTB) campaign by holding activities that highlight the safety of the school bus transportation system and recognize the many dedicated bus drivers who take students to and from school safely.
CCS will celebrate with activities beginning on Monday, Feb. 8th at R. Brown McAllister Elementary School, where 'Buster the Talking School Bus' will make an appearance to teach students about school bus safety. Buster also will visit other elementary schools during the week, including Bethel, Boger, Cox Mill, Harrisburg, Royal Oaks and Weddington Hills Elementary Schools.
CCS schools also will recognize bus drivers this week with special activities and celebrations to thank them for the care and concern they bring to their jobs everyday.
