CCS Announces Early Dismissal Days for Students
On select days throughout the school year, students in Cabarrus County Schools will be dismissed early from school to allow teachers and staff to participate in professional development opportunities and to prepare end-of-semester grades.
The early dismissal dates and times are listed below:
Elementary Schools Early Dismissal Dates & Times
October 29
February 12
March 26
Tier One schools will dismiss at 11 a.m. (Schools which begin at 7:30 a.m.)
Tier Two schools will dismiss at 11:45 a.m. (Schools which begin at 8:15 a.m.)
Middle Schools Early Dismissal Dates & Times
January 20
June 10
All middle schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
High Schools Early Dismissal Dates & Times
January 15
June 8
All high schools will dismiss at 11 a.m.
Lunches will be served on early dismissal days. Cabarrus County Schools KIDS: PLUS program will operate on early dismissal days for families currently enrolled.
