In addition to the Knowledge Master Open Quiz Bowl Team, the school's Word Masters Challenge Team recently completed Challenge #2 where the team's 5th graders places second in the nation. This is quite an accomplishment since 705 school teams competed in the 5th grade level division.

Team members Julian Berger, Madison Bray, Elizabeth Coard, Matthew Coslian, Adam Goers and Riley Malone all earned perfect scores in the meet - only 51 fifth graders throughout the country earned a perfect score.

Rounding out the team are Bennett Kirby, Lauren Martin, Alex Murray, Ashlee Owens, Teannah Sampson, Josh Topper, Joey Bissonnette, Angelina Fardella, Ashley Gillespie and Charlie Rodriguez.

The Word Masters Challenge Team will compete in the third and final challenge later this month.
