Two Northwest Cabarrus Middle School students placed 9th and 10th nationally for several consecutive weeks in the VMathLive program. Congratulations to Michael Miller and Tavijah McKenzie, who are students of Debbie Lamm.
On November 16th, Sherry Spangler, a representative from Voyager Learning, presented Michael and Tavijah with prizes and certificates for their accomplishments.
VMathLive is an interactive, online extension of Voyager Learning math programs, including Transitional Math. Students are able to access VMathLive from school and home with any Internet access. At any given time, there can be thousands of students and teachers from all over the world online competing against one another by solving simple computational problems to higher-level Algebra problems.
