8th Grade Technology Proficiency Standards
The Cabarrus County School System is required to report annually to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction the technology literacy of each enrolled eighth grade student.
In order to determine technology proficiency, eighth grade students must meet seven or more of the ten Eighth Grade Technology Proficiency Standards. These standards will require the student to demonstrate a variety of technology skills that will be utilized through classroom activities/projects. At the end of the eighth grade school year, the student will receive a P for Proficient if they meet seven out of ten standards or F for Fail if they do not meet seven out of the ten standards.
