| Dean of Students - Chrystal Brown Mrs. Brown graduated from South Carolina State University with a B.S. in Mathematics and from Gardner-Webb University with M.A. in School Administration. Prior to coming to CCS she taught Math in South Carolina and in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. She has been both a Math teacher and an Assistant Principal at Concord High School and an Assistant Principal at W.R. Odell Elementary School. | School Counselor - Leslie Dianetti Ms. Dianetti graduated from the University at Albany where she majored in Psychology and dual-minored in Education and Business Administration. She completed her graduate work at the State University of New York College at Brockport and earned her M.S.Ed. in Counselor Education. | English/Freshmen Seminar - Brooke Anderson English III/ Freshmen Seminar Ms. Anderson graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Secondary English Education and a minor in Nonprofit Studies. She is currently studying at East Carolina University. Prior to coming to Cabarrus County Schools, she worked for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. | English/Freshmen Seminar - Margie Wiggins English I and English II Ms. Wiggins' Website Ms. Wiggins is a NC Teaching Fellow and graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with degrees in English Language/Literature and Political Science. While a student at UNCG, Ms. Wiggins was involved in numerous on- and off-campus activities , including the Spartan Basketball Pep Band, Office of Admissions Spartan Tour Guides, the Dean of Students Office Undergraduate Assistant and Student Conduct Team, Office of Alumni Relations Alumni Ambassadors, University Marshals, and the Center for Creative Leadership/YMCA Black and Hispanic Young Achievers Mentorship Program. Given her enthusiasm for travel and British literature, she also took advantage of the opportunity to study abroad for a semester at the Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester, UK in the fall of 2007. Following her graduation from college, she embarked on her second international adventure— this time teaching English as a Foreign Language in Iwate Prefecture, Japan for one year on the Japanese Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme. She returned home to NC’s Crystal Coast in the spring of 2011, where she began teaching honors and standard English I and II and honors and standard Civics and Economics in Onslow County.  | Science/Freshmen Seminar - Yolanda Blakeney Ms. Blakeney was born and raised in SC and attended Piedmont High School in Union County, NC. Following graduation from Wingate University with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and minors in Mathematics and Business, she taught chemistry classes at Monroe High School for 16 years. During that time, she earned NBCT in Chemistry and a Masters in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University.
