
Assistive Technology Specialists Amy Channell, MS, CCC-SLP/ATS Amy is a speech-language pathologist who has worked in a variety of settings including the school system, private practice, and hospital. She has a wealth of AT experience in providing direct intervention with special needs children. Barrows, BA/ATS Amelia has taught children with autism for 8 years with experience in home-based ABA programs, the Mariposa School for Children with Autism, and in a self-contained classroom for children with autism in Cabarrus County Schools. In these settings she has created and adapted materials to assist students with meeting their IEP, behavioral, social, and functional goals. She received her undergraduate degree at Penn State University, and masters degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist in Cabarrus County Schools for the past few years.
