Coaches Education Program All coaches (paid and volunteer) are required to pass the Fundamentals of Coaching class within 60 days of employment as mandated by the North Carolina State Athletic Association. Coaches must maintain a current First Aid/ CPR/ AED Certification. Fundamentals of Coaching is an on-line class sponsored by the National Federation of High Schools. The district will provide on-line access to coaches. A copy of the completion certificate must be sent to the Cabarrus County Athletic Director's office. First Aid/ CPR/ AED training and certification will take place at each school via the athletic trainer. |
