My name is Janelya M. Lewis Baker. I am one of the school counselors at W.R. Odell Elementary. My grade levels are 2nd, 3rd and 4th. My office hours are daily from 8 AM to 9 AM. Teachers, parents, and other school staff may make referrals. Students may also make self-referrals for counseling. Small group counseling is offered to students to support and enhance the development of personal and social skills and to support and promote educational success. Small groups provide not only additional social-emotional learning experiences but also allows the students a chance to belong, a chance to express themselves, and a chance to benefit from the support of group members. Small groups will start during the month of September for 3rd-5th graders.
