THURSDAY 10/11: media center to work on The Crucible Essay Homework: work on outline; read a newspaper or magazine article; complete a journal entry in which you describe the author’s use of figurative language and detail; that means you must find an article that contains fig. lang. and lots of detail. Bring your article to class Thursday along with the journal entry.
MONDAY 10/15: BR: TONE; article exchange, read your partners article and record general comments about the style. Discuss your findings with your partner. On a piece of paper, write the article title and describe the author’s overall style. Use examples.
