Your PTO participates in many activities that allow us to raise funds to support various needs within our school. Two of these include the Food Lion MVP Classroom Rewards Program and the Harris Teeter VIC Together in Education Program. These programs allow you to "link" your Food Lion MVP Card and /or your Harris Teeter VIC Card to W.M. Irvin Elementary providing us with monetary rewards. PTO has launched a campaign in March to "Link" or "Relink" your cards.
As of the end of February, we had 132 MVP cards and 37 Vic cards linked to Irvin which has generated approximately $850 in additional revenue. Based upon the size of Irvin, we see a huge opportunity to grow this number. To do this, we need your help:
We have established a process here we can link your MVP and/or VIC to Irvin on your behalf by providing your MVP or VIC card number along with your name. We will take care of the process of linking as well as relinking your card as long as your child(ren) attend Irvin. We do not require any other personal information.. However, we are looking for as many card numbers as possible, so don't forget friends, relatives, etc.
A gold colored form came home this week. Please fill it out and return it to your child's teacher. Thanks for your continued support.
