An excellent place to start! The College Foundation of North Carolina is a free service of the State of North Carolina that helps students plan, apply, and pay for college. CFNC is a partnership of Pathways between the N.C. State Education Assistance Authority and College Foundation, Inc. Students applying to colleges in North Carolina, whether public or private, two-year or four-year, should apply through the CFNC web site at www.cfnc.org. Though CFNC services are free, college application fees set by individual colleges still apply. Some colleges/ universities wave application fees during College Application Week in November. |
The Common Application for Undergraduate College Admissions The Common Application is a not-for-profit membership organization that, since its founding over 30 years ago, has been committed to providing reliable services that promote equity, access, and integrity to the college application process. The Common Application serves students, member institutions, and secondary schools by providing applications - online and in print - that students and school officials may submit to any of our nearly 400 members. Membership is open to colleges and universities that promote access by evaluating students using a holistic selection process. |
