Every year in Transportation we try to do something for our Bus Drivers to show them how much we care about the job that they do. Our drivers are very dedicated to their jobs and Cabarrus County School's students. We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone in Transportation who serve our children every day, you make a difference!

An award was given to our Local 1st place School Bus Road-e-o winner - Boyce Chapman Accepting on behalf of Boyce was his planner Cindy Barnhardt. (He will advance to the State Road-e-o on May 24, 2012 along with Matt Nail - District 1st Place and Lonnie Christenbury - District #3 Place. We wish them all the best.)

Mr Stacey Douglas is our 2011-2012 Assistant Principal of the Year. Through all his hard work he has made his bus lot not only a great work environment, but also like extended family. Congratulations Stacey for all that you do for Transportation! |

Our School Bus Driver Award was given this year to a lady that stood out for her dedication and her heart felt attitude towards the students, parents and staff. To pick the best driver out of so many good ones is a choice not to be taken lightly and this year we had many awesome drivers to chose from. This is always a tough decision for us to make in Transportation, but one that is given great thought. She does a tremendous job and truly cares about her students. It shows in her daily work ethics, but also in her life.
