Description

Agricultural Engineering and Technology I is taught 1ST period, fall semester in F127. This course involves the technological aspects of the ever changing industry of agriculture. Trade skills are the focus in level 1 with a very broad appeal to those students who enjoy hands-on activities. The agricultural shop is used as the facility in training these new skills which include welding, woodworking, electrification, plumbing, painting and many more. Tractor repair, and safety is also discussed. Many students who continue on to level II - metal fabrication are ready for entry level jobs in the welding field or are a step ahead of most taking community college courses in welding.
