Mrs. Hicks is one of the most compassionate and selfless people I have ever met. She always puts her students first and always listens to their problems. She is a great listener and advice giver. Mrs. Hicks is passionate about her job and her students absorb her passion. She relates to her students in such a manner that I always know I can confide in her no matter what the problem. She is an amazing woman and an all around great person. |
Mrs. Parker is the best teacher I've had at Central so far. I learned more from her than I ever have in any other class. We learned things that we could apply in real life situations, instead of just mindlessly memorizing things that would be forgotten next semester. The atmosphere she creates in the classroom makes everyone feel at ease and able to have a good time while learning. Although she runs a tight ship, you can tell it is because she really cares about her students and wants them to succeed by pushing them to perform at the best of their ability. She believes in her students and is an all around great teacher. |
Mrs. Hicks is not only one of the most incredible people I have ever met in my life, but also an outstanding teacher. She teaches her class in a way that is so fun and interactive that students usually don't even know they're learning something, and that to me is an excellent quality in a teacher because they can hold the students' attention longer and have more of an affect on them. Mrs. Hicks is also one of the most compassionate people I have ever come in contact with. She puts everyone else before herself and doesn't judge a soul. She is always there to listen and try to help to the best of her abilities. She is one of the strongest women I know. She has struggled more in her life than any soul as good as hers should have to, yet she can overcome all of it and still be the amazing person she is today. |
Mrs. Hicks is my all-time favorite teacher a Central, hands down! I love being in Mrs. Hicks' class! Her class is always the highlight of my day and I hate that I wasn't able to take one of her Bible's classes my senior year. It is extremely apparent to me that Mrs. Hicks loves what she does. Mrs. Hicks teaches with a passion that I have never seen in any other teacher. In Mrs. Hicks |
My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Deaton Parker. Mrs. Deaton makes it a goal to not only teach her students, but to work with them and make sure that once they leave her room they are enlightened in not only literature but in everyday life situations. Mrs. Parker drives her students hard, but only to help them succeed in life and English. Her class was, by far, the class I got the most from. |
Mrs. Howie is one of my favorite teachers because she shows devotion to her work and her students. She not only teaches, but she also is the advisor for the step team at CCHS. Ms. Howie to me shows leadership and is a great role model for young women. Ms. Howie is not judging to her students. You can talk to her with confidence, and you wouldn't feel bad about anything. She is a great person with a great attitude, and she teaches with a positive spirit. |
Mrs. Deaton-Parker is one of those extremely special teachers that stay with you for the rest of your life. She is the kind of teacher you want to keep in touch with even after you leave her class because she honestly wants to see you succeed in life. In her class you are pushed to your limit and then kicked off the edge. Yet somehow you find a way to fashion a parachute on your way down, and you learn many very important lessons along the way. She is one of the hardest working teachers I have ever known. I have no idea how she accomplishes all of the things she does. However they always get done with great efficacy and panache. |
Mrs. [Parker][Deaton] has been one of the most impacting individuals on my life thus far, and I simply cannot explain all that she has done for me as a teacher. I have always had a passion for English, but she has taken my love of literature and writing and pushed it past what I thought possible. Class with her is a constant challenge; as soon as you have accomplished something, you set your own bar another notch higher. Not only have I learned the "information" I need, but I have learned to question, to search, to connect, to ask more, to be dissatisfied with the shallow, to be the devil's advocate and discover every facet of right, wrong, and grey answers. She has made literature, language, and writing come to life in a way so many of us never expected. Indeed, every class I have had with her has changed most of us deeper than our academic selves; we have changed as people; we have grown closer together; we have discovered things within our own hearts that we would not have found otherwise. Mrs. Parker is the epitome of a teacher, in my eyes, and I will never forget her. |
Mrs. Turner-Meehan is an amazing teacher who has allowed me to grow so much as an individual! She is so dedicated to Central Cabarrus and all of her students! I have had Mrs. T-M for three years, and she has taught me so much about myself while helping me become a better leader! I admire her for all of her creativity and compassion toward Student Council and her students! I am so thankful to have been blessed with a teacher that has impacted my life in so many ways! She is a great teacher who pushes her students and challenges them to reach their full potential! She is energetic and always optimistic concerning upcoming events! ![]() |
Mrs. Deaton-Parker is an amazing teacher who has taught me so much about English! She definitely helped to build my confidence and make me a stronger writer and reader! I have had her for two semesters and learned more than I thought that I could ever learn in four years! She is a teacher that I will always remember and carry her class advice with me throughout college and my career! I want to thank her for all of her hard work and dedication to making each one of her students expand their knowledge in literature. ![]() |
Mr. Busse is such an enthusiastic and dedicated person to our school! I have had the opportunity to have him as a cheer coach for four years and have watched his compassion and love for cheerleading grow with every year. He is so excited to begin each year and works very hard on all of our routines and fundraiser projects! I am glad to have a coach that cares so much about all of his girls! He is so fun to be around, and we all love to joke with him! Our team has made many memories over the years with him! ![]() |
I believe that the best teacher at Central is Mrs. Hicks. She is the most amazing teacher I have ever had. The best thing about Mrs. Hicks is her ability to relate to any student; she can make anyone feel like they are completely special and important to her. Getting to know Mrs. Hicks on a personal level has been very encouraging and influential in my life. The biggest influence she has had on my life is through my decision to be a Bible Teacher! I absolutely love Mrs. Hicks and I think she deserves a huge "THANK YOU" for all of her hard work!! |
I'd have to say Ms. Mclean is the best teacher I have had. She is always in such a great mood no matter how bad she feels. She was always willing to help me with any problem I had, with school or with life. I consider her a friend. Though I don't have her any more she still helps me study math during lunch, and we talk like good buddies all the time. She is so awesome. Best of all she is an Adam Morrison fan. Not quite as big a fan as me but still a fan. She also loves the Carolina Tarheels just like me. We also have similar music tastes, and she likes my all time favorite musician, Woody Guthrie. |
MS. Parker... She is the best teacher that I have had in English. She shows that she cares about all of her students. She finds ways to make her classes fun.
I love u Ms. Parker |
Mrs. [Deaton] Parker has been one of the most influential teachers I have ever had. Considering I have a history of hating English and those who teach it, Deaton really turned things around for me. Everything we did in there I feel like I can relate to my life outside of class. Heck, for my Graduation Project Paper, I still went back and used some of her notes and packets of information to help me write! She truly is one of the best and most dedicated teachers ever at Central Cabarrus. And we all certainly love her for her 'dry wit.' |
Ms Miller is one of the best Art Teachers I have ever had in my entire life. She always finds a way to be positive about any situation and that is a true life lesson. She is always coming up with amazing ideas for things to do in class and she is truly an inspiration to everyone she meets. |
My favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Parker(Deaton). Mrs. Parker is my favorite teacher because she is da best at what she does. She has taught me so much that I didn't know even though we are not all the way through the first half of the year. Last year she won teacher of the year; she keeps our volleyball team winning and keeps students motivated when they feel like they want to give up. Mrs. Parker loves what she does and wouldn't change it in for anything...except maybe volleyball. The thing I like best about her class is how much study time she gives us each day and even though we read a lot of books we learn a lot we didn't know. Having Mrs. Parker for English III is fun, and I hope I have her next year too if I can!!! WE LOVE YOU MRS. PARKER!!!!! from Antonio Hall and the rest of 2nd period. |
Mrs. Hicks is one of the strongest people I've ever met. She is not only my favorite teacher; she will hold a special place in my heart for life. Her class not only informs about the Bible; she makes everything relate to our lives. It is always obvious how much she wants to teach. Her love and appreciation of life is also apparent and beautiful! No matter the situation, she always seems to find the happy! I have made a lifelong friend in Mrs Hicks! |
Mrs. Deaton-Parker has, to put it simply, completely altered my life for the better. I cannot express how much she has taught me both as a student and as an individual in the world. She expresses such passion for teaching and compassion for those who are lucky enough to encounter doing what she loves (her students). If there was ever an individual that the world should leech onto, it would be her. We could all use a splash of her compassion, a drop of her devout faith, and an enlightenment from her infectious intellegence. She is a true Devil's Advocate that forces one to go "to infinity and beyond" in both the respect of learning and self-growth. This Devil's Advocate ironically was sent from heaven to alter the lives of her students, like me, with her outstanding ways. I am truly blessed to have encountered such an amazing individual to have as a teacher, mentor, and friend. Basically, i love my D-P :] |
Mrs. Parker (Deaton) is the greatest teacher ever!! Her dedication and intelligence shine throughout every period. As one of her students, you never have a moment that is not filled with learning. Her class is one of the hardest and the most demanding classes you can take, but sticking it out will make you discover so much about yourself. Life lessons are learned as well as academic; the knowledge you attain will remain in your mind and soul until the end of your life. Thank you Mrs. Parker for everything. I love you. |
Mrs. Parker, when I grow up I want to be just like you. Thank you for your endless support. |
Mrs.Parker because she is the first teacher I've had who truly encourages her students to do better and keep trying. She also knows how to make the most boring subject(no offense) really fun. Not only did she make English fun for me; she's actually the first teacher to show that she really cares about my future.
Thanks Mrs.Parker!!! |
Ms. Miller has been my best friend and confidant since freshman year, when I first walked into her Art I class, and she walked into my life. Miller has been there for me through thick and thin, has given me advice when I needed it the most, and helped me to see things in a positive perspective. Her kindness and compassionate nature just seem to overflow, alongside the love that she has for everything in life. Miller has taught me to grow, not only as an artist, but as a person. She has seen me extend my arms to the heavens and seen me throw them back down when I'm frustrated; she is one of the first ones I long to talk with. I am grateful every day for having been given the honor, pleasure, and privilege to have met someone like her and for the fact that I have found an eternal friend in her. With much love to my Chica!! ![]() |
Mrs. Hampton has been like a second mother to me. When she had my sister in her class, she loved her so much. I am so very grateful that the love she has for my sister has also been passed along to me. Her warm and caring smile in the mornings really turn things around for me. She has a motherly feeling towards everyone she comes in contact with, and you know that she will do anything within her strengths to help her students succeed. Even through all the trials that she has gone through, she has come out a strong and driven woman. Je t'aime, maman. ![]() |
Mrs. (Deaton) Parker was like a veil being removed from in front of my eyes. She opened my world to one of seeing things from multiple points of view and with maturity. In our sophomore English class, Deaton helped us to find and better ourselves in the sense of being able to express our thoughts and feelings openly and in a grammatically correct manner (wink, wink). All of us in her class left with a huge stone on our laps at the thought that the person whom we admired and who taught us so much would no longer be teaching us, not only what was in the books we read, but in our dealings with everyday life. Although she may very well be one of the hardest teachers I’ve had, she has been a light in my life and a blessing that I pray and give thanks for every day! Love you mucho!

Mr. Dellinger has definitely been a breath of fresh air for me. Although I feared him at first because of his deep resonant voice, when I finally met him I found a pretty good friend and student in him. His yearning for learning about other cultures and other languages is very commendable. He taught me what it means to be a good, responsible citizen and has been the very personification of what it means to be a United States citizen. His teachings have been very effective to me, and I am very thankful to have been given the great honor of having been his student. I hope other students will appreciate him and his teaching methods as much as I have. Muy buen trabajo y bien hecho, Dellinger. |
Oh; Mrs. Parker, you are a fabulous teacher! I absoluetely adore your teaching style; it has really helped me understand the value of symbolism and appreciate the books we are reading. You are caring and considerate and try to teach us about the things that matter most, like not making fun of people that are different than us, and I think that the song, "Don't Laugh At Me" really touched the class, and I think that next time we go to make fun of someone we'll think first and remember what you taught us. You are infectious, and when I walk into the room I can't stop smiling because you are so nice and wonderful.
- So thank you very much Mrs. Parker for being such a WONDERFUL teacher! Mrs. Parker, This is my second one to you, but I thought that I should let you know that not only are you a great teacher, but you also have impacted me and made me want to make you proud by encouraging others and being a good role model! I love your personality and how you try to make your sudents better people, and I honestly think that we have all become better people by just being in your class. -So thank you, Mrs. Parker, for being a great teacher! |
Mr. Maletta has one of the best personalities in the whole wide world. He made me smile every day because he is always bursting with happiness. His class was also alot of fun because there was always something fun planned, and it usually involved interacting with others. He is one of the best people I have ever met and one of the best role models a student can have.
-Thank you for making your class something to look forward to! Mr. Maletta, You are one of the best teachers on the face of the universe! You are creative, fun, and caring towards your students, and that's why I loved having you as an English teacher. It was especially wonderful having you my freshman year because you helped me develop a positive outlook on high school, and I figured if every teacher was as wonderful as you, then high school would be fantastic! So thankyou, Mr. Maletta, for being such a wonderful person and teacher! And I know this is my second one to you but that's cause you're so great I had to write another one. ![]() |
Oh; Ms. Bottomley, you are such a wonderful teacher and such a wonderful person! You are constantly striving to get your students to understand the importance of loving absolutely everyone, no matter who they are, and I think that's so fantastic. You are always extremely happy, and it helped all of us students start the day off on the right foot. The books we read were interesting, and I learned a lot in your class, so I thankyou for that.
Ms. Bottomley, your smile and personality brightens everyone's day, so keep on smiling! -love, Brooke |
I think almost everyone that has gone through English I at Central can attest to the fact that Mr. Maletta was our reason for surviving freshman year. Even if you almost failed his class ( :] ) he always left you with memories that will stay with you far beyond high school. Because of Mr. Shamey's penetrating gaze of Ma-Lettuce's smile, when we entered that room, we always did so with a broad smile. Even today, when I walk to my first period class, I can always count on the loud "KRUG!" to put me in a good mood.
Here's to you, Mrrletta! |
Ms. Dauphinais you are also a fabulous and friendly teacher! The way you teach art makes it really easy to understand, and all the activities that we did were always a blast.
-thankyou, Ms. Dauphinais |
I remember telling some of my upperclassmen friends my schedule for Spring Semester 2006. I remember telling them "Honors English IIB, Deaton," and their immediate response being, "Ummm, you might want to drop that class. Deaton is an extremely hard teacher. Listen to me and take my advice; drop her class." Being the typical high school student, headstrong and ignorant, I told myself I was not going to listen to those warnings and countless "Deaton horror stories." Walking into your class on the first day of the Spring Semester of 2006, I was feeling confident this semester was going to be fairly easy. After hearing your expectations and syllabus for the semester, I was overwhelmed. Within the first fifteen minutes of your class, I was wishing that I had listened to those warnings and stories. But now as a freshman at Western Carolina University, I'm glad I decided not to drop your class, but instead decided to endure the pain and late nights your class would later bring. We are now halfway into the first semester, and your class has already paid off. The almost endless list of vocabulary, reading, and hand-numbing writing assignments have really helped me in my first semester. I have Composition I this semester, and my professor gives vocabulary quizzes and long writing assignments, and I find it easier; thanks to your class. Many of the vocabulary words you gave us in English IIB have appeared on her quizzes, and your high standards for writing have helped on those long research papers.
I wanted to thank you for being the amazing teacher you are. My first semester of college has been much smoother and easier because of your class, and those endless vocabulary lists and countless late nights have prepared me more for college than I ever thought possible. Thank you for being a teacher who expects more out of her students because she cares, and for being a teacher who does not give up and is always persistent. I know I appreciate it, and always will. Thank you so much! |
Ms. Fera is one of the coolest teachers ever. She always makes sure that her students are on track. She puts us in partners to work, and with those students who need help she never lets them get behind. She cares so much, and that is what makes her so awsome. |
Mrs. Parker is my favorite teacher at Central. She has a heart that reaches out to everyone that deserves it. I learned a great deal in her class Sophomore year, and when I found out I wouldn't be in her class this year, I was incredibly upset. She was the first adult I ever officially came out to, so I've clung to her more than I have any other teacher. Though she has taught me English in her class, she has taught so much more to me, and I feel like a more knowledgeable person after having her. I love her so much. =] |
Mrs. Parker is definitely a teacher that I will never forget! She is an AMAZING woman and teacher, and she has made more of a positive impact on my life than any other teacher at Central. I remember getting my schedule the summer before my sophomore year and asking everyone, "Who is Mrs. Parker?" When I found out that it was Miss Deaton, I was reallyyyyy nervous because of her "hard-core" reputation. I knew it would be an awesome class the first day I walked into her room though! We had to fill out a "true/false" questionnaire on everything she had accomplished, and when I saw all that she had already done with her life, I knew I was in for an exciting/interesting ride :]
I LOVEEEE Mrs. Parker, and I hope I get her my senior year!!! p.s You should sign this wall.. It's kind of like facebook :] |
Coach King is a great teacher! He makes HN US History really entertaining! He is also really involved with a bunch of school functions, which shows he is a true VIKING! I love his class so much that I'm going to sign up for AP US next year!
I'll never forget the infamous Animaniac's President song :] |
Ms.Dauphinais has been a good friend and teacher to me ever since last year. She always has something insightful or just plain funny to say to me, which usually just cracks me up and brightens up my day! Although she is very tough at grading, she is a wonderful teacher that one can easily learn from. Love you, chica!! ![]() |
When I walked into Mr.King's classroom, I felt very nervous because when I saw him, he looked so very serious. I thought that I wasn't going to like his class at all and that he'd be one of those teachers that is always yelling at his students. But I'm glad I was given the honor to be in his class and be one of his students. His teaching methods are great, and you can tell that he cares about his students' well-being and whether they pass or not. He's very funny and very honest with you. He definitely makes our U.S. History class very interesting.
P.S: I can't get the Animaniac's President song out of my head!! ![]() |
Ms. Parker is one of the greatest teachers I have ever had! Her class helped me learn so much, not only about English, but also about important things in life. I know all of my classmates would agree that after being in that class their lives have changed for the better. It was a real eye- opener for a lot of people. Thank you soooo much for everything that you do Ms. Parker! ![]() |
Ms. Parker is the best teacher I have had at Central. She is a great person and teacher. She is funny, and I can really understand what she is teaching. I hope I get her again next year. |
Coach Sowle was a great coach to me freshman year. He always knows his students' potential. Although I can't stand his favorite baseball team (Red Sox, which stink), he is a great coach. I'm thankful to have had him my first year in high school. He's a very nice and cool person! ![]() |
I want to thank Mrs. Biondi for being such a supportive woman through all of my fears and struggles. THANK YOU MRS. BIONDI; I LOVE YOU! ![]() |
I would like to thank Mr. Askins, my Algebra II teacher, because I hate Math; however, he has made this year in Math somewhat understandable for me. I have never felt anywhere near confident when it came to the Math department- Science and History have always been my thing, but I love the way he teaches. The way he brings people into the lesson is amazing. There has never been a math teacher that has had me first period and been able to keep me awake. His method of teaching makes math understandable and easier for me to do alone. Thank you so much Mr. Askins! ![]() |
One of the people that really needs recognition is Officer Buckwell. He is left unrecognized by a lot of students. Some of them don't realize the work he does and how it is good in many ways. Officer Buckwell has saved my life; as a matter of fact, and without him I would probably be dead. He makes me understand my own self value and understand the meaning of RESPONSIBILITY, INTEGRITY, MORAL VALUES, AND MOST OF ALL CITIZENSHIP AND TRUST. I want to thank you, sir, for being my saving grace. God bless you in everything you do. ![]() |
I want to thank Mrs. P!!! Mrs. Parker is the best teacher I've had in my whole high school career. She is challenging, but she is the type of teacher that makes it meaningful in the long run. I enjoy Mrs. Parker because she shows much creativeness in her work, and she knows how to appeal to her students' diversity. Another reason why I like Mrs. P is because she can luminate anyone's day no matter what. She has the type of attitude that forces you to like her, and I like those types of people. Furthermore, her teaching style is great, and you learn a lot more on a subject than you thought you would. She knows how to get deep with things, and pull out the roots. Lol. Keep doing your thing Mrs. P!!! |
I would not like to thank Mrs. Parker. I do not appreciate the way she assigns challenging work; I do not like learning, nor do I like improving my vocabulary. I'm surely not fond of her penchant for nicknames, and never does a day pass that I don't sigh and think "Geez, another day in Parker's class, whoopee!" But most of all I would NOT like to thank her for being one of the most involved and personable teachers I've ever had. I have previously heard that a prosaic teacher is the best one to have; that is why I could never thank Mrs. Parker, for she has eradicated that previous conception. Thanks to her, the average teacher is no longer satisfactory.
Thank you Mrs. Parker for not being normal =) |
Mrs. Parker,
I can honestly say that prior to your class, I didn't know what hard work was about. -At least not in large doses. Your class has not only taught me how to write an essay and improve my vocabulary, but how to manage my time and choose my priorities. Sometimes, your class makes me want to pull out my hair because of the stress, but with every assignment that is finished 20 minutes before it is due, I learn a new lesson. By the end of this semester, I will know better. Thanks for pushing me to my farthest potential. That's a lesson that will go beyond your class and for the rest of my life. |
Mr. Maletta is an amazing teacher; to say the least. As a nervous freshman entering his Honors English I class, I was worried that I'd have a boring teacher who would make me fall asleep. I am proud to say sleep was the last thing on my mind in his class. Although I am not the bookworm type, Mr. Maletta actually made the stories interesting, a feat which constantly made my jaw drop in disbelief on a daily basis. Mr. Maletta's inexorable sense of enthusiasm showed me that I too could leave a mark on tomorrow's society. Although I may not be rapping to Romeo and Juliet anytime soon, I thank Mr. Maletta for being an inspiration to me to pursue a career in education by becoming a teacher. Mr. Maletta, thanks for everything. |
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Porter. I am proud to say that I am currently taking a second course that she is teaching. My favorite thing about Mrs. Porter is that she makes you work. Although coming from a high school student that idea may sound insane, I think everyone needs a little push from time to time. I thank Mrs. Porter for always giving me that little nudge in the right direction. Another great thing about Mrs. Porter is that she has confidence in her students. She does not accept "I think" as an answer. She tries to get her students to have confidence in themselves. I really appreciate this, as I find myself a little low on self confidence from time to time. Mrs. Porter is a great teacher and I don't believe she gets enough credit. |
Ms. Hicks,
Thanks so much for your help and support. I am praying for you and your family. I hope everyting goes well. |
I would like to thank Ms. Parker for all the hard work she does. Ms. Parker has helped a lot of people through a lot of things. I know that she has helped me through some things, and she really cares about her students. She probably is the best teacher becuase she actually cares about her students, and she is strong in her beliefs. She is the most compassionate teacher I know. She talks to students like they are people and like they are human, not like they are incompetent people. I appreciate Ms. Parker a lot, and I am really going to miss her when I leave her class!! <3
Ms Parker, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE! IT REALLY MEANS A LOT TO ME!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!! <3 *Stephanie* |
Ms. Dauphinais: Thank you so much for being there and pushing me to be the best that I can be. Also, I thank you for being the best teacher that I have ever had. You believe in me and what I can do. You always make me feel appreciated because you can relate to me and talk to me like a young adult and not a child. I thank you with all my heart. |
Ms. Miller is one of the nicest teachers at Central. She is always interested in what you have to say. She is always smiling, and makes you smile back. |
I appreciate Mr. Maletta becuase he cares about his students. When he knows that his students have had a bad day, he knows how to make them laugh, and he knows how to make them smile. That is a great quality in a person, and I know most people appreciate that! I know I do. Mr. Maletta talks to students as people. He is just a fun guy to talk to. He is soo full of energy and life that he, no matter what, can make you laugh and smile. <3
*Stephanie* |
Ms. Pate is one of the the most wonderful teachers in this school. She cares about all her students, and she encourages them to work hard .I love Ms. Pate because she always keeps me on the right track, and she is always willing to help me. Thank you, Ms.Pate, for all your help . |
Hello Ms. Dauphinais; it's me, Derek, just here saying thanks for believing in my talent and pushing it so I have a better view on art. Also I would just like to say you're awesome because you helped me evolve with my art skills and brought it to a whole new level.........Thanks for your help.
Derek Morrissette |
Mrs. Hartsell,
You inspire me whenever I see you working with the disabled because I always see them smiling and having a good time. Im pretty sure that I want to be a therapist for people with disabilites because I feel sooo good about myself whenever I work with the kids from Wings of Eagles Ranch. You are soo giving towards everyone around you and care for everything too! I just wanted to say thanks for everything that you do! (P.S: your daughter is going to be just fine at training level; she can do it!!! ) |
Mrs. Parker,
I wanted to just say thanks for everything you have taught me. Its not just English that you teach to your students, but how to grow and be a respectable person. As each day goes on I still learn something new every day. I would just like to say thank you, and you will be one teacher I will never forget.♥ |
Coach Dellinger was one of the best teachers I ever had. I had him for World History and Civics. His Civics class was so easy because he made the class fun, while at the same time he was teaching us what we needed to know to pass his class. He teaches with a passion like no other teacher because he wants his kids to have fun while learning. Coach D makes school fun. He also has helped me in football the 3 years I have played for Central. |
Mr. Maletta is seriously one the best teachers at Central. He jokes around with his students and makes English 1 fun to learn. I was always happy about going into that classroom. I still sneak in his room and write him notes on his board before 1st period starts. I wish I could go back to my freshman year and have him again [even though Mrs.Parker is off the chain too]. Mr.Maletta is a great role model to his students with his postive attitude and his amazing Mr.Shamey board. He gave just about everyone nicknames which made the class even more fun. He's always going to be one of my favorite teachers, and his "HEY" every morning makes my day better.
I love you mane:] ---Mariser!!! |
I would like to give thanks to Mrs. Parker because she is always there to encourage students to do their best and will help you in any way possible to make sure you accomplish your goals. She treats all students equally regardless of who is doing the best or worse in her class and thats rare in a lot of teachers. I honestly believe she teaches because she loves it, and its not just a job to her. She enhanced my learning and my range of thinking more in one semester than all of my English teachers combined. She rocks!! =] |
Officer Buckwell is probably the most caring person in the school. He knows people by name, and he checks in on people when he knows they have had it rough. I appreciate him a lot!<3
*Stephanie* |
Ms. Donna Medlin,

I wanted to thank Mrs.Parker because for the first time I have had a teacher that has actually pushed me to do my work and tell me that I will amount to something. I also want to thank you for the endless support and staying on my case when I wasnt on task...♥

Thank you, Mr. Askins, for always saying "hey" to me in the hallway and always trying to have a good attuide because it is hard sometimes, but I thank you for that. ♥Love,

Mrs. Parkerrr:]
You make your class so much fun, even though I really don't like English. You show that you care about your students and that means a lot. You're blunt with your students, while most teachers here tend to sugar-coat things. Our class is fun to be in, and I actually enjoy coming to English 3 every day... well, maybe not on quiz days. Thanks for being such an amazing teacher, Mrs.Parker. :] Marisa |
Miss Bottomley,
I wanted to just say thank you for everything you have taught me. You're not just a teacher, but you're a great Mentor. You're someone that I look up to every day. Just the way you can make a bad day turn around, or how you won't let anything get to you. It proves to me that you don't always have to be gloomy or let a bad grade get to you. You're an amazing teacher and one that I will not forget. Thank you for everything you have done for me! ♥Mariah |
Mrs. Fava I would like to thank you for all you have done for me. You have helped me all the way as a freshman to now. You have never given up on me, and you will never quit on me. You are a great person, and you have a great heart, and I just want to thank you for all you have done for me. |
To Mrs Pate.
Thank you Mrs. Pate for you time and for your help in my English and homework. Thank you again for your patience. GOD BLESS YOU, MRS PATE. PS: I am sorry for my orthography. |
I wanted to show appreciation to Ms. Traci (the lunch-lady) because I really think that she should be acknowledged for her good deeds that tend to go unnoticed and all that she does for the school and her encouragement. |
Mrs.Parker: I really love you girl -you know you are my favorite park of the day. I look forward to coming to your class. You make me want to learn and do better in myself. You make the class fun, and you make all of us want to learn. You always keep us laughing even when it is on the topic, and I know that's hard for a teacher to do because sometimes classes can walk all over teacher. You are very compassionate and loving and want all of us to do great in life, and that is an excellent trait to have in an teacher -love you Ms.Parker ♥Kamoree Baker |

Mrs. Parker: I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a great teacher and having a good soul. You are a teacher that will go out of your way to help someone in need, and that is what makes you so different from other teachers.
P.S. God loves you for how you are, and no one can tell you different. All that matters is that you know what you stand for. |
Ms. Howie,
Thank you for so much for the time you put into class and how much you have to deal with. Hope your day is going great. |
Mrs. Howie,
Thanks you for a great year so far; you're the coolest ^_^!!! i hope you find some way to deal with this class ^_^ Have a great year !!!!!! |
Mrs Hicks,
My wife and I were blessed to have you teach both of our daughters. You have inspired so many children at Central. Our prayers are with you and your family. One time I told you that after a long, often frustrating, game we had coached, the best pick-me-up was to go home and hug my children. I hope that after each of your tough days, you remember the hugs. My children are not at home now... I often think of people like you for "hugs" to pick me up. I didn't list my name; you know who I am. Your friendship is something I will cherish forever. May God always bless you. |
I think that Ms. Lange deserves to be recognized. She has always been so helpful to me. She has helped me with so many essays I have had to write for college applications. She makes English class a lot of fun and helps us to deal with our senior project. |
I have never had Mrs. Hicks, but I worked with her a lot when I did the Bible play. She has so much passion for her job, and she works so hard. She makes me feel so special whenever I see her. She always stops me to ask how I am whenever she sees me around school. |
Mr. King has a way of making something that would never be fun more than fun! Mr. King is one of those teachers who you can talk to about anything and know that what you say will always stay between you and him! He is very understanding and a great teacher! |
Mrs. Hicks is awesome, and she always makes me laugh. |
I would like to thank Mrs. Deaton (Parker) for being so awesome. Being in Pre-AP English II with you was overall enjoyable. For everyone's sake, keep torturing the little 10th graders! ![]() |
Mrs. Hicks is one of the most caring people I have ever met. She really cares about what is going on in every one of her students' lives. She also tries to make her classes fun and tries to get everyone involved. She always is telling a joke or doing something to make people laugh. Even when she is going through trials she does not think of herself; she thinks about her students. |
Ms. Miller is one of the most helpful teachers that I have had. She has helped me a great amount with the senior graduation project, and I am truly grateful to have met her. She is also a very wonderful art teacher! ![]() |
Biondi,
You just might be the most brilliant person I know. I am amazed at how well-read you are and how you can converse on most any topic. Your wit is often above my head, and I appreciate how that challenges me to improvement. Students truly enjoy your class; particularly for the deep discussion. You are honest, and what you see is what you get. You manage to always look for understanding and peace, even in the most frustrating of situations, all the while avoiding judgment. I admire you. |
|
Mr. Askins,
Although I never had you as a teacher, you have always been so nice to me. I'm ecstatic to have been given the opportunity to have gotten to know you and be able to be in FEA with you, as well. Thanks you so much for your kindness, even though you and Mizelle tend to be mischevious when you're together. heehee ![]() |
Mr. Troutman is a cool teacher!!! |
Ms. Bottomley is so funny; especially her baby chicken story she tells. She is a fun teacher. |
Mr. Troutman is a fun and awesome teacher! |
Miss Bottomley. . .
Thank you so much for being such a good teacher. You have taught me so much both inside and out of the classroom. You can always make me smile, and you always make my bad days better. You are such an inspiration because you are always yourself no matter what other people think. You never compromise yourself for anyone else. I admire you because you're such a kind, free-hearted spirit, and you don't let small things get you down. Thank you so much for everything. <3 Sofia |
I would like to take the time to thank Mr. Kish for being an awesome physics teacher. The class would not be the same without him teaching. He makes physics a fun class, while at the same time he teaches us a lot of information. |
Ms. Deaton (Parker)
I ran into Johnny the other day, and we started talking about your class and how much we miss your influence in our everyday lives! I miss your mirth each day! With so much love, Bristol Glass |
To Mrs Hicks!
I would just like to say thank you for the play!! You were the one to make it happen and I appreciate everything that you have done to make it happen. I would also like to thank you for just being you! You always find a way to make me smile. You're always positive, and you're just an all- around awesome person! You'll be in my prayers, and I wish you the best. |
Ms. Batterman,
